Chicken pecked

I just got 3 new chickens and almost immediately i had 3 other hens attacking one of them. They pecked all her feathers off of her head. I have her in a dog crate in my garage. I cleaned her with saline solution and applied blue kote to the bare skin. She really smells. I dont know if its her scalp or her poop. Any suggestions??

Did you quarantine the new birds? I guess not.

It's usually best to remove the bullies and let the new birds - after a quarantine period - get accustomed to the new digs. Then bring the bullies back one at a time.

All that needs to be done before one is injured. Established flocks don't like interlopers and try to kill them or drive them off.
New birds are viewed as a threat to an established flock.
