Want do I do, what is it???

Is this a peck mark? My girls free range everyday. I'm worried about this!
Hi @Suprise-Chicks

It does look like it may be Fowl Pox.
For the scabs, you can apply Iodine to help them dry up. If there are any close to the eye like in your first photo, apply Vetericyn Eye Gel or Terramycin eye ointment to those. Don't pick off the scabs.

Make sure you clean your water and sanitize your water stations. Fowl Pox can be transmitted that way.

Here is more detailed treatment information:

You will see many types of health and social issues if they are crowded. Some breeds do better staying cooped than others. What are all the breeds you have together again? Easter Eggers... some say are mild or docile . I have these and would say also can get pretty revved up.But for sure I have experience with the Australorps being aggresive and peckish especially the roosters can be wild ! Orpingtons are sweet ,mild and sometimes passive. Do they have a pecking block? That may help. Most good feed stores have them or Tractor supply. Stop peck could help. This can definitely be from a defeciency... but I can not pull that out of my human harddrive somehow. If you look at a chicken handbook like Storey guide to chickens they will probably know. Or you could surf the WWWaves of the web. I wish I could remeber.. I will keep thinking and it may come back to me. Or better yet ... Hey folks does anyone out there on BYC know what defecencies causes feather picking? We have a crowd of chicken lovers out there! Also if it were me I would try to shore up their run. I have owls and hawks so I will have to have a covered run where I am( which I am in the process of building now ). Please let us know if this helped.
