I like having subordinate Roos, they still do their jobs, but I have found that they're also not my favorites when compared to a Boss. If you want him to remain in charge and do his duty then just make sure he knows that challenging or attacking you will not turn out well.

Thank you. He and I will work it out or he will be a true yard bird and take his chances. I cannot give him to someone who will make soup. I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but once they have a name, they cannot go on my plate. That is from my parents letting me raise animals as a child, get attached and then find them in the freezer.

If you were getting along previously, Fred has likely taken issue with something in your behavior around his girls, which he may not have cared much about until the hormones started to really kick in. He is still young and there is time to set things straight with him but going about it the wrong can make things worse. Good luck with him.
