We killed on of our roosters recently and one of the hens saw his dead body. She walked into the woods after just standing there for a good 5 minutes. We haven't seen her since.

Sometimes i wonder if she's decided to go broody, since the rooster dies she probably decided to brood the last of his eggs. I hope she comes back with some chicks if so.
