I live on 2 acres the is agricultural/residential. My town states I have to have a permit if I want chickens. Why do I need to pay for a permit,another back door tax. Non of anyone's business what we raise for food on agricultural land. It will be our food.Nothing for sale. I see this as over reach and invasion of our privacy.Massachusetts

We have a reasonable expectation of privacy. I have constitutional rights that allow me to use my property as I see fit.
They have no jurisdiction.
This is going to far. It may seem pety, but not to us.
