My smaller cockerel, Lucien, is enthralled with my tiny dog, Arya. She does surprisingly well with him pecking at her hair.

I'm still not sure if this one is male or female, but it's not a tiny Cheeto puff anymore!

They are PRECIOUS!!!!! Memnoch and Mercury's baby reminds me of a Spitzhauben, only laced.

How are their temperaments?

@HDogger , your video really put a smile on my face!

What really got me was the chicks dustbathing right along with the older members of the flock.

That little mohawk is hilarious & cracks me up the bigger it gets. I thought she'd get a fuller crest considering her more domed head. So far, the Ayam Cemani are the most friendly. They crawl all over my dogs & me. The Phoenix has started to try crowing & pecking at my hand when I pick him up (he's going to be a handful). M&M's kid is like they were at that age - just doesn't want to be handled but is fine once I get ahold of her. They all are really good at flying already. They grow up so fast! :D

I've heard nothing but good about ACs, so I'm not surprised that they're your most personable! Goodness, that boy sounds like he's something else.....

Cobra (bantam Phoenix) bit me while he was on the roost trying to go to bed the other night, and I immediately scooped him up to show him who's boss. I didn't take it too personally because he does that with everyone, including the others beside him. I can't get over it.....seems like you just hatched those little boogers!

I always end up with animals that have attitudes, that's for sure. Ronan has chilled out on the pecking but now Memnoch has gotten me twice & hard enough that it's caused bruising. I guess our winter honeymoon is officially over & he's decided to go full rooster on me (he's only biting me when I taken him away from my Polish hens at night). I might be looking into a Bro Coop for him & the 2 cockerels from spring's batch to try & chill him out again. And I also don't have enough females to keep 4 males from not killing each other. I'll have to see how things progress.
