Well, I took a bunch of the chicks on a ride to meet the guy that texted yesterday about wanting babies. He took 3!! A buff, white crested, & a partridge. Everyone did fine. Though I've decided if I've too many for my small dog crate that I'm going to convert a small plastic tote into a portable brooder.....going to either drill air holes in it or cut out a portion of the top & tape cage wire over the opening. Haven't decided for certain yet.

Which means today's "phrase" is

chicken phrase, chicken phrase my chicken phrase is (sorry if got it wrong...head is blowing up) forget chicken crossing the road....chicken rideshare is now the way to go.
