Hey sorry for bothering you again but I think that one of the lavender Orpington's is a male. Should I get another female chick now so they get used to each other or is it fine if I only have 2 chickens or will they get lonely?

What makes you think it is male? They are still so young.

Their wings and tail feathers. One has a lot of feathers and tail feathers and the other one barely has any and has no tail feathers. They are both the lavender Orpingtons. Or if I am wrong do you have any suggestions? It’s illegal to have roosters where I live

Wing feathers aren’t a good tell. Orpingtons aren’t a breed that can be wing sexed at hatch.

One of them is so much more progressed than the other though. One also has tail feathers and the other doesn’t and they’re the same age. Sorry it just seems a little odd to me.

I'm just saying, that isn't really something to go by. They can be the same breed and gender and have different growth rates.

No problem...I mean, getting another chick isn't a bad idea, but I wouldn't be so sure that's a boy.
