chicken poem

My DS wrote this poem for school he is 13 - I thought it was cute he said put it on BYC -

Chickens cluck
Chickens strut their stuff,
Chickens poke and peck

Roosters help the hens
Roosters scratch to find their food
Hens come waddling
Roosters crow
To find the rest,
They do their best

Hens cluck till the day is done
Roosters check the brood
Roosters crow one last time

Mom comes and locks ‘em up
So the day ends to start a new day
The cycle begins again another day
