Chicken poop

after reading this i used all the poop board scrapings around the banana tree's. one is just starting to get some nice hands developing! MMmmmHHMMHH chicken poo banana's

oh and the other day i was at the gas station - the landscapers where cutting the grass, which was pretty long and they had bagged up probably 8 trash bags full of grass clippings for the trash, so i asked if i could have one - for the chickens of course! the poor kid looked at me like i was a little crazy

but nicely carried one to my truck. then im thinking ok, they will only want to play with so much off this.. what to do with all of it, start to think i am a little crazy

but decided to put some on the poop board under the roost that was already dirty

, left it for a few days - no smell

cleaned it today, CLEANER than its ever been!

so i put down a bunch more, decided to rake out the coop bc the poop board was so clean, put down fresh straw

i love a nice clean coop!! now when i cut my grass

i might actually rake some up to reuse! just thought id share my easy poop clean up while we were on the subject!
