Chicken pooped out intestine or worm?

She looks okay. No weight loss, comb looks good, no ruffled feathers. She is preening and eating. Acting normal. She is going through molt. There was no blood in her poop. This was in her poop. What could this be? Please help. Thank you.

I am going to tag @dawg53 and @casportpony and @Wyorp Rock in case they are online. It looks like a roundworm, although they usually look white in color. Something makes me think this could be a long strand of intestinal shed but I am not positive.

Thanks. There was chicken poop inside of it. She is outside and acting normal. We've had our girls for 8 years and have never noticed this. She had a poop ball stuck to her butt yesterday and we cut it off. She has had problems with that.

Those (tapeworms) tend to appear white or cream colored don’t they? Tapeworm segments may look like moving specks in the droppings.

It's shed intestinal lining, not any kind of worm.
