I have a light brahma who regularly lays an egg a day. She is about 10 months old.
For the past 3 days she laid no eggs and I noticed her not leaving the coop when I let
the others out for foraging. Her mood seems weird and I thought maybe she was sick.
Last night I went out to the coop/run and saw an egg in the sand with no shell and another
egg with a shell but the shell was really just a membrane. It's like she just popped these two
egg formations out. I know they came from her since
the other chickens in that coop are not of egg laying age. Any thoughts about what might be
going on with her. Thanks.
