Chicken possibly sick

I've got a young hen. I've just noticed that when she breathes she opens her mouth. Could she be sick or just warm?

Does it sound like any thing is stuck in her throat? How hot is it where you are? I am thinking it is because of heat but want to be sure

It was probably about maybe 60 degrees it doesn't sound like anything's in her throat I can't really see in there.

She was doing it this am around 7 am. Didn't have heat lamp on yet.

I would recommend getting some vet rx at the feed store for her.That can help smooth the throat.

Have you checked her crop? Could be possibility of sour crop. Is she also drinking from the nose or eyes? Or just mucus in the mouth?
