I ordered a bunch of beautiful Saxony and Welsh Harlequins from Holderread's.

I am head over heels in love with the Saxony. They are friendly, gorgeous, HUGE birds. The females can weigh 8-9 lbs and the males 10-11.

The funny thing is I didn't realize until recently that the Welsh Harlequins were the result of a genetic anomole in a breeder's Khaki Campbells. He bred for the feather mutation which resulted in today's WH's. Which explains why they can lay up to 350 eggs a year!

Yupp, crows were getting to my babies.
but it only happened when my mum had them outside, so i told her not to do it

my last one that passed, died of shock in my hand, from a crow attack, it lost half of its wing to a crow.
