I woke this morning to 3 Marans chicks, a Sebright, and a Silkie, in addition to the others already hatched! I'm definitely getting hatch day backache already from peeking into windows.

We have 5 baby quail and I helped hatch one out this morning. He's been trying for two days and I finally decided it was okay to intervene. I'm supposed to go check on him in a few and I'll snap some pics but he was fighting when I left so I am hopeful that he'll make it. Apparently the power went out here at school on Sunday for the majority of the day so we are assuming it may have delayed the hatching of the quail. Some hatched on time and some are still rocking today so

My 3 JB eggs are due to hatch on Wednesday...boy has that 3 weeks gone by fast!! Now I just need to find homes for them! Anyone??
