Chicken pro seems nervous about me using the ecoglow brooder

Just got my first batch of chicks under the EcoGlow. It was an act of faith. Because it is radiant heat you can't measure it with a thermometer so I was worried it would not be warm enough. No problem, the chicks are thriving! I love the Ecoglow because it seems like the closest thing to Momma Hen. They hang out under it and run out to play and eat and if there is a loud noise, back under the Ecoglow. I highly recommend it. Now that they are feathering out, they spend more time roosting on top of the ecoglow.

My chicks have been without heat for a few weeks now. My ecoglow was great. Worth every penny, so glad I bought it.

BTW the chicken pro was fine after the first two days of my raising chicks under it. Other people who ordered with us had chicks who were still acting stressed from shipping, while mine were all happy and lively.

I love this forum! Never heard of Ecoglow but now I am going to look into it for my next batch of babies! Thanks guys!!

Same thing here.. I loved the worry-free way of using the ecoglow.. Mine would dart under it for warmth, come back out to play and plot their rebellion against me.. then when it was night time.. not a peep outta them for the rest of the night. My mother commented how much quieter the chicks were than my parrots! I took it out once I caught them sleeping on top of it and leaving the top layered with poo.
