chicken problem

Hi, one of my hens has started acting very strangely since yesterday. she seems to have lost her sense of balance and is constantly going around in circles, not sure what causes this, can anyone please advise. many thanks

I would not make a guess without further information. My advice for now, seperate, ASAP! It maybe nothing, it could be something bad, so remove her from the flock, put her somewhere warm and quiet. Give her extra attention and monitor all signs of illness. How old is she, what has she been eating and what do her droppings look like? Is she eating or drinking? Has she lost weight? How is her color? Is her comb and wattles the appropriate color? You will be able to get a better idea of what all her symptoms are when you have her isolated. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

thanks for getting back to me, she seemed healthy until yesterday, comb and everything fine, weight colour very good, whats amazing is that her sister is standing near her helping her to move in a straight line and encouraging her to feed, who says chickens have no brains. her poo seems to be very pale, she eats the same as all the other hens and they are all okay
