I couldn't tell how long it will run. My DH says there is no IMAX in J'ville, but the computer says this is one and there's another at Regency. I don't know about such. He only knows of the one in World Golf Village in St. Augustine. That may be even closer to you. We have friends in Lake City - perhaps we could meet midway sometime.

I went to the Post Office today and had a squishy( a package with fabric)!! My blocks came and the patriotic strips and they all look so beautiful! Coyote, I am sending you a PM!

Thanks girls! They are just awesome, and I am amazed at how many of them had buttons for the eyes! I bought some itsy bitsy buttons after this swap but I will use them next time!

Here's my first set of three, half done. I think the top one belongs to sewingca or babymakes6, middle block is goldenluver's...I would love to know how you made the eyes on yours...too cute! and the bottom one belongs to Luna. It's pinned and ready for quilting, the checked fabric around the edge is the backing that I haven't trimmed yet. These blocks are beautiful...thank you all so much. I had planned on putting some additional pieced blocks around the chicken blocks but it took away from the quilt, so I will use them in another project.
