Chicken Quilt/Tablecloth for Cetawin

Made this to match a table runner I gifted to her awhile back. I made it so that it can be used as a bed topper or tablecloth. Will back it and do some minor quilting to hold it all together. Her table is 35 x 70 on top and this has nice overhang on all sides. Gosh, I need a new camera--my old one makes all the greens appear too blue.

Her internet access isn't up this weekend so you will see it before she does, LOL.

I had two blocks left from our own staff swap and just added the others to it. The black/chickenwire fabric and the outer border chicken print, I bought for this project specifically.

That is so pretty. Have you seen Diane Gaudynski's book, "Guide to Machine Quilting"? I am going to try to learn to quilt on my Kenmore sewing machine, which is just a regular sewing machine. I must have arthritis in my right hand and can no longer hand quilt. Getting old sucks!!!

No, haven't seen that book. I agree, makes me nuts that I can't do what I want to do anymore! At least, piecing by machine saves my hands for the quilting part.
