Chicken Rainbow ... Need Suggestions!!

Oegb make amazing pets.

You need some lavender birds.

Cream legbars are a must.

I think a chocolate or chocolate cuckoo English Orpington would be awesome.

Some silver pencilled rocks the hens are so stunning. They're on my list but I'm having a hard time finding them.

Double laced silver or gold barnvelders.

Brahmas are great birds. If you look around you can find buff laced but any color Brahma is beautiful.

Blue laced red wyandottes

Some people are working on project blue silver laced birds. I've seen them in Wyandotte and also Orpingtons.

Buckeyes are also great birds. If you find a good breeder they are so stunning and such a deep red.

An idea for a white egg layer and unusual breed, again I have no experience with them. I have tried but never got any chicks to hatch. Buttercups.

A mottled chicken could be great for you too.

You need some white egg layers to make your blue and green eggs stand out. Leghorns are a bit flighty but great personalities and excellent layers. You don't seem to have any white hens in your flock so you could go with white which are the best layers or if you want something more colourful, brown leghorns or better still exchequer leghorns are very striking and quite rare.
Thanks! I think the Frisian will lay a white or cream egg, I’ll hopefully find out in a few weeks. But I need another!

Hi! I love the variety of my chickens more than anything! What I already have is listed below. Any other breeds you recommend and why?

Prefer either, decent layer, colorful egg or just a really neat or rare breed!

I have:
Black Copper Marans
Ameraucana (Blue and Black variety)
Olive Egger(Cream Legbar/Marans cross)
Easter Egger (Ameraucana/RIR cross)
Buff Orpington
East Frisian Gull (Gold variety)
Speckled Sussex
Welsummer
Salmon Faverolles
Silkie Bantam
Barred Rock Bantam
Cochin Bantam

Wish List (if I can ever find them):
Cream Legbar
Blue Copper Marans
can you put a picture of your east frisian gulls because that's the breed I think I have so I would like to see if it really is thanks.

Ayam Cemani - the totally Black chicken. There's a Swedish version (can't recall the name right now) in case you need more cold hardy.

You should put your location on your profile so people can see what climate you're in. Give you better suggestions on breeds & also if you ever need help with a sick or injured chicken.

This is a rabbit hole for chicken math, but you should look at the website for Greenfire farms. They have a bunch of beautiful rare breeds there. But they are VERY spendy.
I personally want the Shamo because I really do want a pet dinosaur.

I looked on greenfire farms and that's the breed I have and I do have a Swedish black hen rooster which is the cousin of the ayam cemani and when did your east frisian gulls start laying because I have only got a few eggs and they are about 8 months old.

Silver Spangled Hamburgs, They have a polka-dot look and they are one of the snappiest, most alert breed of chicken. They are rather small, with light sweeping, graceful outlines. Maturity : Male/5 lbs Female/4 lbs. With a White Egg color.

I also think that all Polish Breeds are very beautiful Chickens and hopefully will own some one day! I love the feathered hats that they have!

Cochins are also a beautiful breed with all those fluffy feathers!

For some Rarity on your farm, I would go with some Phoenix ! They have beautiful long tails that drag the ground and are also are smaller breed weighing in at 5.5 pounds for the male. Their ALBC Priority is Threatened!
