Chicken Rant! Stopping coop laying and chicken chores while pregnant.

We had one that was laying her eggs on the floor, with 3 nest boxes. The others would drop them USUALLY in the boxes, but not all the time. I put a "bread crate" in there on the floor, under the poop board (no poop could land in it) and filled it with hay. Shavings on the floor. That cured it. They ALL layed in the bread crate. Then I put more hay in the nest boxes, and now, they all lay in the nest boxes and not the crate. It's kinda funny, one lays, and it's like they stand in line to use it after she leaves. Same box 99% of the time.
