Guess that says it all! BTW...my 17 year old just came downstairs and said "mom, I'm hungry, can you make me something to eat?" KK, it's like 12:30 in the flipping morning.....are you crazy son or are you BRAIN DEAD!
2MNY!!! OMG, you are soooo right, my twin boys are 17 and 6' 5", and I stay up pretty late because of my shift and they also will come upstairs and ask "mom any subs left" or can you make some mac-n-cheese or do we have any ice cream??? The only other thing on their minds besides food.....GIRLS & GOLF!! LOL!!! The only way I get to spend any time with them?? I had to take up golf and yes, I usually end up paying!!! or....I make a ton of food, then I get to spend time with them and ALL THEIR HUNGRY FRIENDS!! LOL LOL!!
Maybe a nighttime movie on the coop's big-screen tv would make her sleepy enough to go to roost without having a personal tuck-in from mama. Except maybe not "Chicken Run".
OK...mdbucks...YOU CURSED ME didn't you!! I check this post and LAST night was the NIGHT from HELL! All 3 children up and down every hour...my husband was screaming out in his sleep, GO TO BED!
THEN I wake up this morning and I left the laying light on (yes I've put in a regular 40 watt light bulb till 10pm)...NOT the red heat lamp!!
I've got to get the timers!
So ALL the chickens, children and US are bleary eyed! YOU MUST have cast a spell...
NO SWEET DREAMS JELLY BEANS TONIGHT!!

*laughs* Our dd is 3, and we still understand completely.. *laughs* (she can't actually *read* but she'll lay in bed in the dark reading her books, then come out to get us to read to her again and she's got a huge stack of books on her bed that she's been flipping through.. *laughs*
Cheeptrick, thanks for sharing that cute story. My wife and I are really new to raising chickens, but we've noticed they all have their unique personalities. We currently have them in the house (they're 3 weeks now) and my wife says "it's better than watching TV."

You are MOST Welcome! I did the same thing...watch them endlessly. We got our 24 EE's in April and have had more fun with them than you can imagine.
They SURE are great conversation starters...people think I'm nuts...but then they get the bug after I tell them all about them.
