So my other aunt has quail, & she found a nearby farm getting rid of a bunch of their laying chickens. The contract with the restaurant they had was canceled & they were almost giving them away. ($5 each) Poor honeys were all debeaked...so she is going to give them a loving home. We all feel terrible for them but I’m glad they can happily free range & live a good life now. No idea what kind they are (she lives in another state), but will try to get pictures from her.
