Jean awoke to the sound of loud crowing. Hidden in his tree, he waited until he saw movement below before dropping to the fence. He had yet to secure any hens, and he didn't like that.

Already on the fence was Toby, the welsummer. He was doing the crowing.

Rio crowed and jumped off of the roost.
Cherry waited to follow Eddy.
