Chicken Role Play!!!

Moon hopped out of her mother's nest. "Anyone wanna play?" She asked looking for some more chicks.

Luna watched her carefully.

Cherry clucked and after she laid 6 eggs settled into the nest and began to set.

"I knew you were going to brood!" KFC says excited "when are they due? are they to warm? do you need more feathers on the nest?"
KFC then started plucking off his saddle feathers.

Cherry only cooed and ruffled her feathers to keep the eggs warm.

KFC handed her multiple saddle feathers and moved to his tail feathers.

Cherry watched, but she was kinda in a dormant/sleep mode, like hens do when they set. She instinctively pecked the cockerel to protect her nest.

Moon hopped over to Cherry. "Will there be more chicks?" The little chick asked.

Cherry cooed again. She wanted peace and quiet.

Moon looked up at Cherry, waiting for a reply. "Cherry?" She asked.

"yes there will be!" KFC replied excited "but she needs peace and quiet so i think you might need to leave" and KFC returned to plucking feathers off his back.
