The last chick was a whole day late, and Snow had a feeling that this chick might have trouble pipping. She knew that she should just abandon the egg if it couldn't hatch, but... She could here the little chick struggling inside. She gently cracked a small peephole on the edge of the egg, and began a long night of assisting the little chick.
Just as the first ray of dawn shone into the bush Snow was under, the fourth chick finally stirred from its curled-up position, stood up, and peeped at Snow.
"She lived," Snow trilled with relief. "I'm naming you Miracle."
Just then, Cloud and Flower came to check up on Snow. "They're all hatched!" Flower peeped, excitedly.
"Come on, Snow, let's go show them off to the flock!" Cloud said.
Snow got up, and the four little chicks scrambled up and looked expectantly at Snow. "It would be nice to get something to eat and drink," Snow clucked.
"Are we going somewhere?" Coal peeped.
"Yes, we're going to introduce you to the flock, come on!" Cloud said, racing through the undergrowth.
