Umm.....I am not sure how to put this

!!!!

I have a 20 week old red lace OEGB. If I had to compare him to anything, it'd be an incredibly hormonal teenage boy. He struts around like a stud horse with his chest puffed and wings carried out, crowing CONSTANTLY. He never ever ever shuts up, and I am not exaggerating. He lets out a big crow every 10-15 seconds, he and one other oegb roo have 18 ladies for them and he thinks he's just top dog.

Anyway, he's always, um....aroused.

Just yesterday I set out scraps on a paper plate, and after they were all finished eating they promptly shredded the plate, as always

So he picks up like a 3 inch piece of the plate and proceeds to "get it on"

This was like a 30 second ordeal with the plate in his mouth, squatting, wings out, turning in circles, and making a drumming sound on the ground (with what, I don't know:lol:), going round and round with this super attractive paper plate scrap

He also is in love with the corner in the garage and the corner on my front porch. He'll go in the corners and stand with his nose in them and do this famous mating dance. He'll stand there for several minutes and repeat this process a few times. He does this like once a day, at least.

Do I just have an over-sexed rooster?

There are 18 hens here for him, some are as young as 16 weeks, some are nearly 6 months old. The older ones are accepting his romancing

The younger ones aren't so receptive, but occasionally I think he gets the job done. I've just never heard of a rooster doing these things!

He's just such a clown!
lol.png
I just saw him trying to "romance" a big decorative rock at the end of our driveway
roll.png
oh goodness!

Hahahaha and I have the just the opposite rooster....he has no clue what to do at all...doesn't even crow, though I know he can

I think I'll take mine over yours, even though it sounds like a hilarious sight to behold.
