Chicken Run from Pool Frame

I've had an old above-ground pool in my backyard for a couple of years, so I decided to use it for a chicken run. I've covered it in hardware cloth and put bird netting over the top of it. I installed tall baby gate so I can access it. I bought a coop kit from Amazon and have it against the run so the girls can access it. (I get them today!) Just wanted to share my story!

What a fabulous idea! Your hens will love you for it. The only downside I can think of is snow...

The girls are here! I'm not sure about the breeds, but I spent hours watching them yesterday!

Need a better picture to be sure but I think I see some Speckled Sussex and Red Sex Link. Do you have any shade for them?

There is some shade under the coop, but I'm thinking about adding a tarp or something to at least part of the run. Good point...thanks!
