Ours was 5ft until we put a roof on. With the pitch, it's 5 1/2 feet or a little more. I still need to bend, so I don't hit my head on the boards.lol

I agree with 6ft tall! I wish I didn't have to bend over inside the coop.

It's also possible to use 4' fencing and arch the top to give better human clearance...

Yes; several have posted here doing the arched roof when using a dog run that is only 4 foot high. Something like this:

Nice pic, Gail! We don't have a "run" so much as a fenced in yard for our poultry. We used 6' welded wire, and so far we haven't figured out how the chickens are still escaping. At least we're down to just 1 Houdini. And yes, folks, I've clipped their wings, rather, one wing on each chicken.
