Chicken Run- Too many diversions?

Hi! Just got five chicks and finished their chicken run weekend. We just built a fence and redid some exterior buts if the house so I had LOTS of leftover pieces of 2x4 and 4x4s. I went a little crazy, abd built lots of perches and boxes and such for the run.

I was showing pictures to a co-worker and she asked if there shouldnt be more room to run around.

It's a 10'x10' run... in your experience is more open space better, or more perches and distractions?

Do you have a photo of your setup? I have a few different runs for my different chickens. The ones who are more like pets have nicer stuff like a swing, roosts, lots of open space, etc., But the egg layers have mostly open space.
