Chicken Saddle... need help with sizing

Mine were so good!! I used a shoe string so I didn't scare them with the huge tape measure. They both measured about 7.5 inches so do you think I should go with a Large??

Hmm, how about you pick out the large ones that you like and I'll cut them down to 7 1/2, to make sure they fit right
