I have been hatching lots of eggs this year and before the end of next month I will have around 70+ chicks, if I don't thin down.
First up are the male brahma chicks. These are $1.50/bird. Would make a decent meat bird. These are a cross of my buff males over my light females. These if used in a breeding program will produce light and buff hens, if on a light female then light males, if on a buff female it would be buff males, and the same cross looking males. These will be breeder quality and not show quality due to the red leakage they will have. These came from a cross of Dave Burchett's light hens and Ron Yochum's buff male.
Next I have three "golden comets." These came form a R.I.R. male over a golden comet hen. They look like comets. I think I have one male and two females. $12 for the trio. The parents came from a hatchery.
Lastly I have two buff Brahma culls. One has greenish legs and one has crooked toes. $1/ bird.
The oldest any of these birds will be is 8 weeks old. I will NOT ship. If you wish to, you can prepay through PayPal and then pickup later so I can guarantee they won't be sold. Will only hold them for a max. of two weeks. After that time I will pocket the money and put the birds back up for sale. If you make arrangements with me before the two weeks and need to pick up later that will be fine. I would gladly trade for a White Leghorn rooster of good quality. No hatchery stock. PM me pictures if you want to trade. He must be of breeder age. Wheaten or blue wheaten Ameraucana hatching eggs would also work for a trade. Again no hatchery stock and please send me pictures.
EDT: I will now start offering day old chicks. I will fill an order up to 10 for $40 with a good possibility of extra chicks, weekly. This will be available starting I *think* the 21st of June, if my math was right. If you give me a 50% deposit I will reserve whatever week of chicks you like as long as it is available. I will only hold for up to two weeks as space is starting to get limited. This deposit is only refundable if for some reason I can not fill your order.They should be available every Friday. The parents will be one buff hen, three lights, and a buff male. The light are Dave Burchett hens and the buffs are a mix of Ron Yochum's and Darlene Hobb's lines.You will receive: any female you get will be buff, buff males, and some light males with red leakage.
