Don't be discouraged. Mine did same. She'd wake up all perky and one day even singing the egg song for her "sister",lol, after giving her antibiotic each evening late just before they go up to roost. Then by mid day she'd be dragging again and just kinda laying around uninterested in anything going on around her. I've now given it for 5 days once each evening, (though I was now told it should be twice a day(??)), but anyways she's now doing much better and starting to eat better each day I think. So give it some time with the antibiotic and also do get that nutrition in her asap because I really think that's the only thing going to help get her strength back. What antibiotic are you using BTW, if you don't mind me asking? Did you google it or how did you decide on it?
Your home sounds heavenly!!! Boy I'd LOVE to be in a place like that so bad... I am tired of being in this same scenario all my life. In about 3yrs, when my husband retires, we are heading up north. We cannot stand the heat down here anymore. God willing of course!!! We are the opposite of snowbirds!!! Hahaha In fact we LOVE the snow and freezing cold weather. Since we'll be retired it's not like we'll have to be out there shoveling snow at 4am so it won't be an issue for us!!! I CANNOT WAIT!!! Lol
Well continued good luck with your baby!!!
