Was that an attempt at a crow? My silkie hen normally sounds like a goose.

I honestly have no idea! LOL I wouldn’t be surprised if s/he crowed while brooding eggs at this point.

Love this idea!!!! I don’t have any pics, but lots of stories. My Bearded d’uccle Napoleon is evil. He has attacked babies and my dog. Or the hens that steal cookies, sandwiches, and apples out of our hands. I once had a hen who got tangled up in some twine, which was wrapped around a stick, which was stuck in the hinge of the coop ramp. She was hanging there, half paralyzed!!!
I freed her and she lived to poop another day
