Breed: OEG mutt. mix between a fawn silver duckwing OEG hen and a black tail red OEG roo.

Story: Chante's mother began setting while we were on vacation. A few days after we came back, she hatched! Chante was the very first chick I hatched with my very own birds and I loved her to pieces. One night an idiotic raccoon wiggled into the barn and slaughtered 16 of my darling babies whom I loved so much, Chante among them.

Gender: roo, or, if you want to be technical, cockerel.
Story: I've never seen a roo whose chest sticks out quite as far as Apollo's. He, too, died during that sickening slaughter performed by a single raccoon

Story: She just hatched a few peeps, and is now a proud momma!

Story: He was... absolutley gorgeous. I wish I could have bred more with him, but he was also put to death by that one raccoon.

Story: He's the proudest, most noble rooster in all the land, no other can match his grace, his beauty, his proud stature, nor is there another crow quite as melodious as that of the great Chanticleer.
