Chicken shower - the cute!

This shows how the chicks use the a 'mama hen plate'. They go under when they get cold, and come boiling out when they warm up. Perfect! Yes, this is our little mob of 11 chicks. Eight Swedish Flower Hen chicks, One BO (with the orange smear on her head), and two Amberlink.
Fortunately, we have 2 showers in the house!

It was loads of fun, but very messy, plus I had to use my partner's shower. They soon graduated to the outside coop and run, and integration with the others, who are about 2 weeks older. Here's the size they are now:

That's true, yes. We taped a paper plate over the drain so no pine shavings would get into it, and then put cardboard down before pouring the shavings in. All in all, it wasn't too bad to clean up.
