Has she ever been dewormed?....also make sure you dont give extra electrolytes while on coridThank you so much.
You're welcome.Thank you.
It's anything containing Thiamine that shouldn't be given during treatment.Has she ever been dewormed?....also make sure you dont give extra electrolytes while on corid
WCheck her breath for a sour odor? If her breath smells sour, then you're dealing with sour crop.
Ok. Thanks. I’ll check everything. It's anything containing Thiamine that shouldn't be given during treatment.
Vitamins/Electrolytes are okay as long as it doesn't have Thiamine in it.
Okay, sounds good.W
Ok. Thanks. I’ll check everything.
No she hasn’t nor has she showed any signs of worms. What I think I am seeing in the picture is intestinal lining sheds. But I am not a doc. Also. Can’t get dewormer out here. I’ve been asking for a while now. As I like having a first aid kit for the chickens and since covid ivermectin is shelves empty. Looking up Coord now. Thank you.Has she ever been dewormed?....also make sure you dont give extra electrolytes while on corid
Corid is available at most feed stores and tractor supply stores, in the livestock/cattle section, either the liquid or powder will work (most people prefer the liquid, but either is fine). Images below. At three years old a reproductive problem is also possible, infection, cancer, etc. Feel her abdomen, between the legs, below the vent, for any bloat or swelling, either very firm or water balloon like. Not laying at this time of year could be a symptom or could just be from the shorter daylight hours. At three years old she should have some resistance to coccidia, unless she's weakened by something else. The Corid is very safe and won't hurt anything even if it's something else. If you have a vet that will do a fecal test for you without seeing the bird (many won't - if they see other animals of yours sometimes they will), that's not terribly expensive. You can also use a mail in option to test for internal parasites: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000J5SOZ4/?coliid=I32VYEG8HEBUE2&colid=27RHKHAM35GO&psc

What is a "small dose" of antibiotic in the water? Which antibiotic and what dose?So my lil Princess is sick and is leaking runny water from her mouth. Her poop is in the picture I am including here. She is fluffed up and has a soft gullet that is not empty in the morning. We are giving her a probiotic and a small dose of antibiotic in her water. We are emptying her gullet by massage and holding her downward for 2 seconds
