Chicken sick?

Hi

My dad put a piece of a pancake in the cage with the chickens and they ate some. They are about 4-5 weeks old. One chicken was laying on its side and like kicking or squirming and didnt lay down on its stomach much. It lays on its side sometimes and it also vomited like a liquid. It doesnt seem to be too sick cuz it walks around normal. Is it ok?

it is from the badking powder and salt content of the pancake perhaps

keep dribbling a bit of water along its beak and I will see if I can find any additional info for you (there may be none but I wil do my best to look for you)
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE HUMAN FOOD WITH ADITIVES LIKE THIS TO CHICKS.

It gets up and drinks the water by itself. Ya I knew not to feed it anything like that but my dad didnt and i was gone. It also still jumps up out of the cage to sit on me so it still has energy.
