So I inherited a flock about a month ago. They have basically been free ranging in our backyard until we finished the coop & run which they are now in. I just went out to bring them some treats and one of them is sneezing.

I'm scared they got something from all of the other birds which were all over the place.

It was sneezing while eating the food...what should I do?

THe chicken is at least a year of age, its an EE/silkie mix. Could the sneezing be anything else or is it necessarily a disease? I didn't notice any runny nose or anything but I wasn't very close to it.

Gah I am new to all this chicken stuff, any advice is appreciated.

Is it always sneezing, or just when it's eating food? Chickens DO sneeze once in a while when they get stuff in their nose, it doesn't always mean something is wrong. Check her out once and see if you can find anything else. Mine do sneeze once in a while and none of them are actually sick - and I worried a lot when I first got them lol
