Sorry not sure what sticky you are speaking of. I apologize as I have only used the forum a few times.
She is in her second laying season born April 09- making her about 9 months old.
New Hampshire Red
Normal weight, although I haven't weighed them
2nd day of these sypmtoms
No bleeding, visual injury, or broken bones
No other birds are showing these symptoms
Don't know of anything that may have caused this, I think she may be a thin shell layer and has been since she started laying.
She's on Purina layer crumbles, water, plain yogurt and oatmeal, hay all in small quantities except the water she drank pretty good.
Poop was a little runny, but had the normal colors including a little white.
I administered the heating pad, and massage. Afraid to do the warm bath, since It's so cold out, although she's in the house now. I thought if I did feel an egg I would do that. I did not.
I don't have a vet here, although it's odd as its in the middle of ranch country!
I don't have a picture, but could try to take one of her standing up. How would I upload it. Are there directions?
