Chicken still in nest box

This is what I have. Each calcium tablet is 250mg and each vitamin D soft gel is 125 mcg. How much should I give her? I can give her a vitamin D but the calcium tablets look pretty big.

The bigger bottle with both calcium and D3 is perfect!
Just give her one tablet now, and another one ever day if you have any concerns.
The size isn't a problem, a chicken can eat a mouse, so they don't have difficulty with bigger things.
You can pry open her beak by pulling on the wattles if need be, and just push it towards the back of her mouth

Wow, I didn't know that. I had to wait for them to roost since they run from me like we're playing tag. I felt nervous about popping one in since I heard that they could asphyxiate if it goes down the wrong pipe but I guess that's only for liquids? I hope this helps her. I'll wait a few days to see if she needs another dose. Thanks for the help!

For all practical purposes, that is only for liquids.
I have done it many times, and didn't have any training or anything, and it has gone perfectly everytime. (except when the odd hen has managed to spit it out!)
I'm sure that it would be possible for a hen to choke on something, but it is highly unlikely to happen

I gave her a calcium tablet the next two days and she was acting normal but it looks like she's roosting in the nest box tonight again. Do chickens do this from time to time? Does this mean she could be sick? Maybe I'll start giving her two calcium tablets (500mg) over the next few days.
