chicken stinks

My chicken smells like she gas an infection...nothing noticeable externally.....she did eat a dead mouse a while back and seems she has had problems since...could she have an internal infection from this?

Glad you could join the flock! I would have a check of her crop to make sure that is ok. The gassy smell maybe coming form there. Please do pop by the link Nicky left for you, I'm sure members there will be able to help you further.

Maybe she has sour crop - you can put that in the search box and information will pop up. Maybe mice don't go down easily -

Hope you've checked with the folks on the emergency link. Do you know what the mouse died from? If it was dead when the chicken found it, it could have consumed poison.
