HEY...I called Cheshire HORSE...they are very interested for April 2009!! The owner is going to call Ken in Milford for a reference...but she is pretty sure she is interested IN hosting a Chickenstock at Cheshire Horse! YAY!!! I'll let her set the date...but I'm shooting for first Saturday in April 2009!! Can any of you ladies email her and tell her how wonderful this event is?? [email protected]

Ok...Melissa cannot make it....she has a class that day. BUT she is willing to send me some autographed books!! How many should I get her to send me? 10 or MORE??

These could be GREAT Xmas GIFTS...paired with knitting needles and a gorgeous yarn!!

ou should bring at least 10 books and order forms in case there are more orders.
I agree with the fact the book will make an excellent Christmas gift, especially for a young girl ust learning to knit. master the socks and you master the whole knitting world.

Ohh I LOVE Cheshire Horse!! All the money I have spent in that place. My dh would have a fit.

I am going to be bringing fudge fudge and more fudge. Also some paper order forms that people can mail to me or just fill out and pay for right then. November is my busy month with Thanksgiving, and then Christmas. Yikes... Christmas. And I have my own regularly paying job this year too!!!

I am waiting till spring to get chicks. Maybe once Cheshire horse is fully on board I will set a date to order my chicks. I am going to place a decent sized order since my barn owner wants some more, my mom and her dh are taking the plunge into chicken ownership(ha ha ha another convert!) and want at least 2 more.

I'm wondering about bringing some silkie chicks to sell or swap? I should have some "extras"....how exactly does it work?

first you tell wendy ME aka chickn all about the silkies, what color what the parents are like about the toe seperation, etc

then, if wendy likes she says to you to bring them and she will take them from you.

or she says bring them place the cage out and people will buy every single one they go quickly.

and how old they are etc, do you know what line they are from?
