chicken stuck in tree

It could be possible that she's scared of the height she's at if she's that high.... Chickens are ground dwellers, we know they roost in trees, but then again cats climb trees & then get stuck in high branches because they get scared & aren't great at climbing down.

Maybe she's just fearful of flying down in case she injures herself.

Is she out of the tree yet?

here is an update on the most annoying chicken ever... she came down out of the tree and I spotted her in the neighbors yard, so I grabbed my net and very sneakily tried to get her, she ran into the other neighbor's garden, where I lost sight of her in the shrubs.... so at least she is on the ground, just not in her coop, in my yard where she belongs. I guess I'll find out what my neighbor's are like, if they get mad or not....

we got her back and she is safely in her coop. She came back into the yard this afternoon and we caught her. Now I just have to introduce her to our other silkie cochin and hope they will be friends. Interestingly the silkie/cochin is showing signs of anxiety with the new comer.... sigh pecking order is my new worry.

Thanks for everyone's advice!

Glad you got her back! Hopefully they'll work it out soon :)

Don't worry... Pecking order situations usually work themselves out. They take on average About a week sometimes two. Don't interfere unless they are drawing blood, just let them figure it out. Hope everything goes smoothly.
