Sorry, BYC seized up (or the internet) & reposted this.It could be possible that she's scared of the height she's at if she's that high.... Chickens are ground dwellers, we know they roost in trees, but then again cats climb trees & then get stuck in high branches because they get scared & aren't great at climbing down.
Maybe she's just fearful of flying down in case she injures herself.![]()

Glad you got her back! Hopefully they'll work it out soonwe got her back and she is safely in her coop. She came back into the yard this afternoon and we caught her. Now I just have to introduce her to our other silkie cochin and hope they will be friends. Interestingly the silkie/cochin is showing signs of anxiety with the new comer.... sigh pecking order is my new worry.![]()
