He doesn't have any issues with balance that's not an issue it's the fact he gets stuck on his back

If its not balance then I'm not too sure, but probs is little balance issues here and there. You said he needs help every time he falls to get back up? That could be an issue if you went away. I'll try find something on the net that could prevent the falls.
