So I ended up with a free chicken when my mom bought me two turkeys. They apparently had been raised together from the start. I recently put them outside (they are all still young) and were fine in their newly built cage. Well Saturday I noticed the chicken (still don't know if it is a hen or a roo or what breed it is) seems to be having a bit of trouble with it's left leg. Now this chicken has some pretty thick legs on it. It is "lame"
I don't know what happened to it but it walks with an obvious limp all of a sudden and doesn't seem to want to move around that much. The turkeys aren't picking on it.
