Now Now Val dont go ruining my nasty reputation lol. I have to work hard to maintain that.

I do enjoy the swaps, it gets me out of this house and around people. I enjoy walking around and seeing the smiles on people faces, and the smiles on others who buy animals.

There were 4 baby ducks left at my tables , Carey had 2 - 4 week olds that were being passed by, I had 2 of Nicoles Runner crosses left, a lady and her boyfriend/ hubby stopped and was looking at all 4 trying to decide which pair she wanted,
A guy came up and bought the 2 Carey had for sale and the poor woman about had a melt down, she then turned around and said she wanted the Runner crosses before someone bought them, her SO said the younger ducks were the better choice anyway as she could keep them inside longer and let them swim in the tub. She left the table with the biggest smile. made me feel good to see that smile.

Making others happy is what its all about, these swaps are good therapy for anyone who is depressed or just a bit off sometimes like I am. I am always up for fixing hard to fix stuff.

I am in Wilton, just the next town over and I am over run with eggs, how many doz you want/need?
I am getting 16 eggs a day and right now I have 9 doz sitting and waiting for new breakfasts,lunches and dinners and salads.

I'm close to you Gypsy and forgot you had some eggs for me! I'm in Francestown.
I'm not much of people person either, so I wouldn't stay long to chat
I was looking for a French Lop or 2...and did you say you had ducklings left? I just got up & the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.

Heck if your just in francistown your only a skip away, stop in for coffee. come down through lyndeborough and stop at the last garage on the right. that will be me !
Cant miss the "Cover All" and the huge white bunny on the fence LOL.

I have 4 Muscivies that just hatched, last one hatched out yesterday. One has a crested head lol its too cute.' the feet on one have straightened out also, so normal ducks now.

As for French Lops I have 14 babies not spoken for as yet. ready to go friday.​

aww dont feel bad, I missed a lot saturday too.
I rarely get a chance to get around and see whats there. I only find something good if one of the kids goes out and sees it and reports back in.;(

Cassi was telling me ( after the fact mind you) there was some really nice birds she would have liked to own.

I know ducks right now are a fly out of the brooder critter. I am amazed at how fast they leave at a swap.
I know if I had 100 they would have been gone in a heart beat, as it was 7 flew with new owners with in a few hours of being there.
I dont think I have ever seen ducks sell as quick as they have this spring, I cant hatch enough out to satisfy the demand.

sometimes being in the middle is too far away, I wish I lived closer to everyone.
I know me for one have made some wonderfull new friends through these swaps. and believe it or not I am NOT a people person. These swaps has relieved some of my thinking about people.
Not long ago I wouldnt see me out in a crowd of people with out heavy medication, now I can do it with outdrugging myself to the point of comatose. these swaps have done wonders for my anti social disposition.

I do have to say Thank You all for being the wonderfull people you are.

me too, i usually hate people, but we have such a great group!! well , minus one .LOL
