Chicken swap Milford TSC June 21st (new date)

Hi Folks,
frow.gif

This is off-topic, but I'm hoping someone knows if there are any local purveyors of food-grade DE. I know I could have some shipped from Vermont, but would rather just grab a bag.

In other news, all my chickies are doing good, and are sweet n friendly, and most coming into full feather. Chickmagnet, I think I've got a blue/silver orp/silkie roo. Still can't tell anything about the silkies. other than that they are stll cuuuute. The little NHR?/X is turning out quite pretty, and may have some funny little crest happening.

The SL & GL wyandottes I got from chickn are doing great. Sadly the little SL Polish chick didn't make it past a couple days(from some different, but nice folks.) I should have picked a stronger, perkier one.

Ah well.

And the WCB polish older girl is still a very nice girl, :loveand the "ladies" I got from HenPen like me when I have snacks, and give me eggs every day. Their feathers are comining in a little bit. Hope there's no permanent damage incurred from the bad rooster before their chicken anullment.

Just my chatty lil' update, and again, looking for local food grade diatomaceous earth Or maybe some one wants to share an order.
Take Care!

Glad your babies are doing well !! You can get DE at almost any feed store, they dont have it at your local one?? Are you using it to dust birds or to keep the smell in the coop down??

Will anyone be selling any bantam cochin female chicks? 4 weeks or so old. also, i need a BR about the same age, and i REALLY want an EE or 2...
