I have everything ready to go tonight. that has never happened before. that means I can sleep later. there will be no

tonight.

I have never had a reason to use this smiley before

Thanks Shay, I am still not 100% better, my voice comes and goes and I have stupid coughing fits, but I am hoping by Sunday it will be better, that will be a whole week so it should!

Thank goodness I sold my turkeys! Also sold a few chicks, and after telling myself NO MORE, I did buy 2. A gorgeous EE hen from H&J and an adorable serama ROO, yes, I said ROO...what is wrong with meeeeeeeeeeeee...Oh, I can use the "I am on medication" clause here!
I did come home, cleaned the small coop out right to the wooden floor boards, spread some sevin dust becuase I saw a darn chipmunk come running out, and aired it out. Now it is ready for some chicken organization!

Had a geat time today even though it rained. The pot luck lunch was a great idea. not sure which mac salad I liked best, yours or cheryl's. Heathers dip was to die for. great desserts,great company. lets do it again!!

Came home to muscovy ducklings. omg are they cute. can't tell how many. mom is VERY protective. saw at least 3 different colors. was able to steal 1 to run in the house to show greg. We have 3 more runners that we will be bringing tomorrow. 1 is a runt. half the size of the others and cute as a bugs ear. keeps up with everyone just fine. it hatched out half size. I let it live with the nanny (button quail) for the first 2 days of its' life to make sure it was healthy then returned it to mom. If I was going to keep one, that would be it. cuteness overload. you guys need to see this little half pint before someone snatches it up.
